The past two weeks have seen the release of two exclusive new snippets of Linkin Park and Jay-Z's mash-up of "Dirt Off Your Shoulder/Lying From You", one with, and one without vocals. With the release came the usual influx of comments, and it seems that the new tracks are taking people's fancy more than originally anticipated.

Alot of fans are more expectant of the album now the clips have arrived than they were previously, and a lot of fans that were blowing it off as 'just another remix album' are beginning to eat their words, and anticipating it as much as everyone else.What most people are realising is that this is far from 'just another remix album', this is a revolution. Though the entire album took only 4 days of studio-based work to complete, the amount of work put into it is phenominal in any sense - with both Chester and Mike recording some new vocals, along with Jay-Z - And the rest of the band toggling with original parts to help add to the mix.

"We picked the songs based on tempo, key and vibe. Most of it was pretty obvious to me -- the songs just told me which ones should go together." proclaims Mike Shinoda, on the studio production of the tracks - all of which he forsaw during the entire studio time.
