Title: Enjoy The Silence - Hit or Miss? (Part 2)
Description: Pete Crewdson -- 27-10-04

Last month we reported on the “Enjoy The Silence” reinterpretation made by Mike Shinoda for Depeche Mode’s “Remixes 81-04” greatest hits: remixed triple CD set, and the reactions from the Depeche Mode fan base. So now we ask, what do Linkin Park fans think of the track?

As with the majority of the Depeche Mode fan base, the reinterpretation was quite well received by Linkin Park fans. LPU member lucyb85 proclaimed “I really like it. It has that LP feel to it but he hasn't changed it that much. It remains truthful to the original in that way. Less can be more“ whilst ADD1369 added: “It's decent. I'm glad it still sounds like "Enjoy The Slience". I hate remixes where everything is altered. It just sounds kinda like a version of a rock song you'd hear at a club.”

Most people though, seem to liken the track to “Numb”. Linkin Park music is unusual, It is music that had its own tune, so when you hear it you think "That's a Linkin Park Song right there".
Which is just what they wanted.
LPs songs are extremely good and are something all teenagers can relate to.
Who here can say there is not one LP song that relates to them here?
