Over the past few weeks hints and rumours have leaked out of WB HQ about the new LP vs JayZ album. First hint was when Brad mentioned that we would hear the Roxy Concert in “one form or another”. We then had Amazon releasing the artwork (which they were not meant to and have been asked to remove it), and another Australian website which proceeded to put up a tracklisting of the now confirmed CD/DVD combo (the site got a few things wrong and WB wasn’t pleased with them). However unless you went to the live gig in the Roxy it’s very unlikely you’ll of heard anything from this CD.

Chatting away to one of my friends on MSN I was suddenly asked “Can I call you?”. This is usually quite a strange comment that you get over MSN, considering you are already talking to the person. So I thought, what the hell.

First thing said was “Can I read this to you?”
Well I wasn’t going to say No was I? My mate started reading an e-mail out. The further through the e-mail he got the higher pitched and more excited he became. The e-mail basically said something along the lines of, that he had be asked to gather 10 big LP fans. The 10 fans would have to appear in London, by the end of the week and meetup and experience an “exciting Linkin Park event”. Of course I gave all my info straight away. Anything LP and I’m up for it.

The phone call was on Tuesday, till Thursday we didn’t know where or what was going on. Then on Thursday an e-mail came through with the details. London WB HQ 5pm. So after a few e-mails we decided to all meet up and go to the event together. By this time we were pretty sure it was the preview of LP vs JayZ. Thursday night was one sleepless night.
