Yes, it’s that time on the calendar again, time for a new Linkin Park release, and time for people to moan about it until the sun comes up. So what are people whining about this time you may ask. Well, just about anything they can.

As previously announced, Linkin Park and Jay-Z will be releasing a collaborative CD/DVD at the end of November. Ever since the day it was announced, the hate has been flowing in.

So what is a band supposed to do when a good portion of it’s supposed ‘dedicated’ fan base, have a mass moaning session?

So what is so bad about the band collaborating with the biggest and most respected hip-hop artist in the world? What is so bad about breaking genres in two and gluing them back together in a style never seen before in a commercialised environment? What is so bad about making a ground-breaking album, dedicated to the fans because they want to hear new material? What is so bad about Jay-Z having so much respect for Linkin Park that he came out of his [self-proclaimed] retirement to make a brand new album with them?

Right on!!! Linkin Park totally deserve respect...I mean, how many times has Chester sung when he should have been in a hospital bed? How many times have you seen someone say "Linkin Park saved my life?" or how much they've been affected by their music? That's not the message you send if you go around whining about their songs.

I agree with the article people should give LP A LOT More of Respect! It Pisses me off when people moan and groan about things that were adressed in the article :angry:
