When people ask me why I’m a Linkin Park fan I could maybe come up with a thousand reasons because that’s just the way it is. You could say in a way I have matured with Linkin Park… I’m almost 17 now and growing up with Linkin Park through High School was a major help. As soon as I heard One Step Closer in 2002 I was completely changed. Before then I was a quiet, shy person who had no interest in what music was saying or how it would someday effect me.

Then I brought Hybrid Theory and all the keys fell into the locks and I was opening up emotions and feelings I never knew I had inside me.

I guess everyone says they have a tough childhood and have had things go wrong in there life that have prevented them from moving on, but for me it wasn’t anything like that, that helped me become close to Linkin Park it was how they helped me appreciate music for how it influenced people around us. Linkin Park influences so many people each and everyday that I believe music is more important to people than any other form of media. Whether it is classical, r’n’b, rock, rap, dance, pop music touches people in different ways, but the people of LPU and other associates coinciding with the band have a passion for LinkinParks music.
