The band once partially covered Jet's "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" as an encore at a 2003 christmas show. 7. The video for "Numb" was shot at two seperate locations, at completely different times. The outdoor scenes were filmed in Prague, Czech Republic. The church scenes were filmed at the First Congregational Church in Los Angeles, USA. 8. The live montage video for "Points of Authority" was never initially intended for release. It was originally meant as bonus for those who bought the "Frat Party At The Pankake Festval" DVD, but the video was supposedly given to a TV station unintentionally, so the band were forced to use it as a promotional method instead. 9. 21 unique videos were made for "Reanimation", by over 15 different directors! 10. | "Vertical Limit" The rumor, or more...misconception about Vertical Limit is that it is the Points of Authority demo. Though the song itself may be the demo, the title of the track is incorrect. The song was labelled as "Vertical Limit" on Peer-2-Peer programs, because the song was supposedly featured in the film of the same name - though sources say that it wasn't. The real title of the song is "Points of Authority", as the band labelled it. So if you see a track called "Vertical Limit", it may be the right song, but it's not the right title! |

| "Papercut Demo" "I have that!" I hear you cry. Well the truth is, no you don't. The common misconception about this is that people think that the track recorded 'live' in a studio in the UK is actually the demo. This track can be found on the "Crawling" CD single, it was also played at the "Live at the BBC" aftershow along with some other demo's. Though there is no conclusive proof that this is not a demo version, it was recorded after the final Hybrid Theory version was. Mike also once talked about a track titled "Paranoia", a Papercut demo that never got released to the general public. So next time someone offers you a Papercut demo, remember that there is no "real" demo, only the BBC version. |

| "Painted Pictures" Painted Pictures is a track that was spread through traders early this year. Since it's release, it has been very widely spread, and very misconstrued. The truth behind this track is that is not a "Sean Dowdell and His Friends" track. The track is infact a Corey Taylor (Slipknot '8') demo from way back in the early '90's, when he was starting out. The real Painted Pictures from the "Sean Dowdell..." cassette has never been released, and probably never will be! |
