Title: Forfeit the Game - Competition Time

Static Confusion - May 9, 2004 09:16 PM (GMT)
Forfeit the Game's first official competition is now live!

The competition is based on promotional tactics to ultimately earn referral points, but it's not your run-of-the mill referral competition.
You earn a point everytime you promote, this stops spamming of referral links, and makes it fairer, and slightly more challenging.

For more information, go to the FTG homepage, and click the link to download the HTML file.

We have some great prizes up for grabs including a place on the FTG staff for the three winners, promo's, singles and bootlegs, plus loads more to be added soon!
Also, no-one is a loser (Unless you get disqualified :P).

Check it out, tell me what you think, sign up, and get referring! :)

EDIT: Banners are here aswell now, you can direct-link them if you want.

To start with: nice competion. ^_^

Next... I wanted to ask you a question on my personal page but I don't seem to find a button to open a new thread on that page?
*feels stupid*

Click on promotions then there should be a "New Post" button on the right.

I only see a 'Search' thingy, a '+' and a '-' thingy, and a 'all subjects' thingy. =-/

It works... :D Thanks!
And... Well, I know already the answer on my question... ;)

Here is an idea... I've been checking out the promotion page of the contest, and maybe it's a good idea to upload the banners and flyers and put them all in a thread with the code under it. I think most people will use these banners anyway, so it saves time for them. This way they can also use different banners quickly. Well, I dunno, just an idea. :)

Only problem is, I don't have a site to host thebanners on, and you can't direct link from he flash, otherwise I would =/

You can always upload them on the board and put them in a thread as an extra... Well, anyway, it was just an idea. :)

Just to note.. it says "To see an example of what you need to write and how to set it out click here"

Clicking 'here' doesn't work..

The example still works, but that text shouldn't be anywhere on the site anyway...
