Warner Brothers Records are changing, and Linkin Park aren't happy about it. The band have demanded Immediate Release from their contract, which is bound for another four studio albums. After undergoing recent changes, more specifically a $750 million IPO, the company, whoc has undergone severe changes in recent months, will be putting less of a budget towards promotiona and it's main directives.

The official statement from the band reads as follows:

"We couldn't be more grateful for the support we receive from all our fans around the world. We feel a responsibility to get great music to our fans. Unfortunately, we believe that we can't accomplish that effectively with the current Warner Music."

As long as they come out with more music, and they're happy, the label doesn't matter to me... I wonder if they can make Machine Shop their own label, not being part of WB though...? If not, what's gonna happen to the Rosewood Fall, No Warning, etc.?
