After Hybrid Theory and Meteora, all Linkin Park fans, including myself, are looking forward to the next studio album. And everybody is wondering, what are the elements that the band gonna put into the new album? Will it be a bit more hip-hop because of Mike getting the inspiration after working with Jay-Z in Collision Course and releasing his hip-hop side project? Or will it just be another episode of Meteora?

From Hybrid Theory, the band revealed their dream: To rock the world with rap, hip-hop and metal. This album is widely accepted by some underground metal fans and some alternative music fans. I know that many of the real Linkin Park fans really like this album because of the riffing guitars and well-written and meaningful lyrics. “Shut up when I’m talking to you!” describes what the nowadays youngsters wanna say and their lyrics encourage teenagers to step up if you can see the positive message behind the dark lyrics. Some fans think that the song ‘In The End’ attracts a lot of mainstream fans and this trend changes the next album following Hybrid Theory.
